With the relocation of a branch office in Hauppauge, New York, USA, pneumatic and electric automation technology supplier Festo SE in Esslingen seized the opportunity to migrate IT services housed in a local data centre to the AWS Cloud.
The process model developed as part of this project acted as a blueprint for further data centre migrations to the cloud.
